Masarat Al-Salam Foundation is implementing an initiative to equip and furnish administrative offices within the Tarabut project in the Hadhramaut Coast Security and Police Department.

This morning, Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Jabri, First Deputy Director General of Hadramaut Coast Security and Police, launched the implementation of the Tarabout Community Participation Project Outcomes Initiative. The initiative includes the provision of equipment, maintenance, and furnishing of two administrative offices at the Hadramaut Coast Security and Police Department. This contribution falls within the framework of the project's outcomes and serves as a foundation for establishing a future concept for community policing. This initiative will enhance the role of security and community cohesion and promote security, peace, and community coordination.

The initiative is being implemented within the Tarabout Project, funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under the small grants mechanism of the United Nations Peace Support Facility (PSF).

Brigadier General Al-Jabri praised this initiative, which serves as a contribution and support to security and police, strengthening the role of cohesion with the community and community organizations, and enhancing the level of police and security performance. It also falls within the framework of the efforts implemented during the previous phase of the Tarabout Project to enhance community participation and build the capacities of security officers and community committees. He thanked the efforts of the funding and implementing agencies of this project and initiative. The launch of the initiative was attended by Colonel Abdullah Al-Daqil, Assistant Director of Security for Security Affairs, Colonel Marai Bakhalah, Assistant Director of Security for Police Services Affairs, Colonel Abdullah Bin Shahna, Director of the Control and Inspection Department, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Alian, Director of Moral Guidance, and a number of officers from the Hadhramaut Coast Security and Police.
