In light of the challenges our society faces, and stemming from our deep belief in the role of youth, women, and social groups in driving positive change, Paths of Peace Foundation was founded as an independent community initiative aiming to instill the values of peace and coexistence, and to build individuals’ capacities to become active participants in developing their communities.

We established this foundation with a clear vision to be pioneers in community peace and sustainable development in Yemen, grounded in the values of transparency, cooperation, and quality. We believe that real change begins at the grassroots level—by empowering people with the tools, knowledge, and skills to express their aspirations and participate effectively in public life.

At the foundation, we work to launch and implement creative youth-led initiatives that reflect the voice of the community and help address the daily challenges we face—whether in peacebuilding, human rights, development, or climate change. We believe that partnership with local and international actors is the key to success and sustainability.

Mr. Ubaid Wakid
Director of Paths of Peace Foundation
